On a converted average higher than Kennett's signing Lambert would be a mistake. Like many riders this season in the EL (North, Palm Toft, Thorssell, Klindt) his average is higher than it normally would be because he's raced a lot of heats against the equivalent of NL riders and not so many against heatleaders.

No doubt he's a terrific prospect but it'd be foolish to sign him on such a high starting average.

I think he's looking at a larger track

Silver wants more meetings at Rye House, so an NL team could be a possibility. Probably along the lines of Scunny, but with one or two more experienced riders in the side.

Very quiet on the Rockets side. We've usually heard something by now

No news at this stage has been unheard of in the past which leads to these options

1 No 2015 for Rye House, unlikely after comments earlier from Len

2 is Len considering Elite League as he seemed to have planned for Kent to move up before planning set back

3 Cant get an answer from Nelson and Bowen on availability for 2015

4 or will we have a new promoter next season

I'm led to believe that the main stand is to be demolished and replaced with a new stand to attract back the punters of yesteryear.

Draught Beer or Cider ? :drink::icon_smile_clown:

They were going to renew the 'Temp' stand, but as nobody could think of a new name for it, they decided to keep it

Maybe Len has a secret weapon for next year ))

Guy Martin practicing on the track at Rye today

Lots of riders, some on flat track and some on speedway bikes. No obviously recognisable riders.

To be fair to the old boy, Len was very hands on at the farcical NL fours at coventry yesterday. I do believe his input had a big bearing on the meeting going ahead, despite the best efforts of the Brandon track staff to get it called off!
