Star Lady 5,400 Posted September 19, 2014 What do you think they're handing over, magic beans. Whatever they are or are not paying, you do not see sponsors of other sports repeatedly gurning in front of the TV cameras. I've never seen anyone from Red Bull gurning on the F1 grid. Humphrey Appleby 13,960 Posted September 19, 2014 What do you think they're handing over, magic beans. No idea, but it's been previously rumoured it may just be promotional support. Organisers and sponsors are normally very happy to crow about how much a particular sponsorship deal is worth, but we've heard nothing about this one. OveFundinFan 4,143 Posted September 19, 2014 I didnt get to see the meeting last Saturday, just caught up with it yesterday evening. Thought it was a good meeting and it seemed a decent track - not seen Vojens before. Tai did well to come out of it with 7 from 3 rides, but why Smolinski wasnt excluded as well I dont know..... would love to hear the refs view on it and why he decided just to exclude one. I assume he adjudged that woffy hit the tapes first.
