Poole V Eastbourne - Wednesday 10 September

Recommended Posts

The re-staging of the meeting rained off on 27 August. Another guess the guest event with replacements needed for Ward, Pawlicki (unless fit to return), Compton, Blackbird, possibly Mikkelsen and whoever else has misfortune between now and then.

Eastie might still be looking for play-off points. Pirates might still be looking for points to try and top the league + hold off Coventry.

Despite Eagles frailty on the road, certainly not a sure fire three pointer for the Pirates having been exposed by Wolves last week so looks to be an interesting night in store.

PS Just been told Lewis Bridger to guest for Ward.......when was the last Poole home meeting that Lewis wasn't in one team or the other?

Garrity would be a good guest at reserve for Eastbourne against Poole

Bridger is a good guest choice as riding well at the moment, surprised to see him riding against Eastbourne

Bridger is in for Ward according to Poole webmaster Steve Allan otherwise the 8 day rule would apply and he couldn't be used.

Still don't understand why Harris wasn't chosen as a guest for Ward......he's flying at the moment.

Bet it will be Kennett for Pawlicki .....unless Pawlicki is fit again.

Looking at the stats earlier. Smart, Hopwood, Johnson and Compton have all averaged 2 or less. So despite Matts fiddling it's made no difference. So the draft has worked well :D

Would of liked to see a final reserve replacement for Charles Wright, always rode well for poole. think he has 1 poole guest appearance left IIRC

Don't bother mate, theres no fiddling going on, all perfectly within the rules other than the top 8-9 the rest of the draft should not be graded, as they are all very much of a muchness, know matter how hard you try and find a hole.. And the only draft you will be feeling is when we give your lot a Tonking in a few weeks time..

That would make sense, but i believe he is listed as a guest for Ward?

Wright is only a GUEST replacement not a regular one.

Surely Poole own his contract, therefore his rides for them?

as its a re arranged fixture for poole and Berwick v Workington fixture was in the list 1st poole miss out when its a rearranged fix

if it was not a rearranged fix then poole would get preference

been told this all by Workington speedway today
