If Rory does guest hopefully he'd have the sense to be rubbish to stop Poole finishing top :D

Only real options look like King and Stead. But they're British so maybe not :P Got to be Bjerre or Kildemand at 1 surely? They could just go with Watt, King and Bridger and call themselves the Poole Hammers for the night :D

They could. But its not Poole's fault they have 3 riders out. I am sure they would prefer to run with their own 1 to 7. Still I will be there to cheer on whoever is wearing the famous skull and crossbones

Updated for accuracy

this post is:-

S - silly.

T - troublesome

U- untrue

P - pitiful

I - indefendable

D - dumb.

However, the EL is dead. So many guests in virtually every fixture.

Next season must be a complete change. Possibly a squad for each team. Home matches every 2 weeks.

Unless something is done the PL will be the top league and the NL will be the second league.

Fewer clubs, fewer meetings.

When you look at the teams of ten years ago how can you say we have an EL now.

Sorry SteveO. Not really directed at you. Just fed up with how the EL has gone over the past few years.

It was a joke a bit like Darcy Ward who is:

S - seriously in need of staying on the straight and narrow

T - trouble!

U - unable to learn from previous serious indiscretions

P - p*ssed at work

I - indefensible

D - doing himself and his clubs no favours at all

BEES V POOLE, PREVIEW

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 14, 2014
bees_poole.jpg COVENTRY supporters have the chance to celebrate play-off qualification with reduced admission prices for Monday’s Elite League clash with rivals Poole at Brandon (7.30pm).

The Buildbase Bees confirmed their place in the title shoot-out by seeing off Eastbourne last Friday, but are still keen to keep the momentum going both on and off the track.

Adult admission for the visit of the Pirates is down to just £10, with all children admitted free of charge – the same prices which are normally in effect for Coventry Storm matches in the National League.

Support and belief in the senior team has been steadily growing throughout the season with the riders responding to the atmosphere, and Bees have taken maximum points from their last seven home matches.

In fact, the last visiting side to come away from Brandon with any reward were Poole, who snatched a point in mid-June thanks in part to a 15-point maximum from Darcy Ward.

The Australian is absent due to suspension on Monday and the Pirates also have injury problems in their middle-order – but they appear to have picked wisely with their guests, as both Dakota North and Richard Lawson have enjoyed excellent recent meetings at Brandon.

BUILDBASE BEES (from): Hans Andersen, Max Fricke, Jason Garrity, Kenneth Hansen, Chris Harris, Kyle Howarth, James Sarjeant.

POOLE (from): Benji Compton, Josh Grajczonek, Maciej Janowski, Richard Lawson, Kyle Newman, Dakota North, Guest or R/R for Darcy Ward.

Brilliant guest choices by Poole as Lawson and North both very strong at Brandon

Good to see Max with the bees again

Good to see Fricke again we really should be looking at signing him for 2015. Bees top 2 should be too strong for any of the opposition unless Poole bring in a decent guest at 1.
