SCB 10 Posted December 6, 2014 Unless they can pull a big rabbit out of the hat, Leicester look like they could struggling to get a team anywhere near to the points limit. Now why did nobody notice this around the time of the AGM? If only someone, somewhere had suggested this may be the case. Even maybe a fan on an internet forum. Oh. Woz01 3,589 Posted December 6, 2014 Leicester were one of the sides wanting the higher limit!
Bagpuss 10,819 Posted December 6, 2014 Quite scary that the 34 limit could lead to a very lopsidedand unappealing league. You have to wonder what goes on at these AGM's, what on earth the motivation is for some of these promoters.

You have to wonder what goes on at these AGM's, what on earth the motivation is for some of these promoters. I "think" they assumed less meetings would somehow tempt more riders back? The problem is, for all the riders tempted back (Jonsson and Lindgren so far), the same number of riders have dropped out. There has also been the idea of job-sharing banded around, but no team seems to be seriously considering this.

There has also been the idea of job-sharing banded around, but no team seems to be seriously considering this. The job-share was only 'bandied about' to try to entice Woffy to stay in the EL. If he'd agreed then it would have been rolled out to all clubs. Once he said 'NO', it was withdrawn from other promotions - BUT could be revisited at the January BSPA meeting if some clubs are still struggling to put a decent side together. proud panther 1,507 Posted December 6, 2014 A couple of people have mentioned more work being done to improve the track over the winter. Can anyone from Leicester confirm if this is true ?
stevebrum 6,829 Posted December 6, 2014 Unless they can pull a big rabbit out of the hat, Leicester look like they could struggling to get a team anywhere near to the points limit. Why? There are loads of riders still un-signed.

SCB 10 Posted December 6, 2014 19 riders, 3 can't ride EL, handful already signed for Poole, Lynn and BV. Now realistically who do you have? Worrall, Mads, Lahti, Milik. I bet Leicester are thrilled!!

The Observer 55 Posted December 6, 2014 Apparently Leicester never put a call into Simon Stead which is disappointing to say the least.
