Gazc 7,098 Posted December 3, 2014 One in every village I am afraid. Most Sheffield know and except that Richie is going to Glasgow, and with Simon Stead staying at the club is not on the right average whether he wanted to come or were desperate to come. But I am sure that he will be raging success for our Scottish cousins. Couldn't believe what i was reading initially then it sunk in but we have them all in our midst we are only 20 odd mile from smugville so we should be used to it. romans lovechild 143 Posted December 3, 2014 hopefully the next announced signing will keep us excited, with the points left to play with and 3 places left I would take any of these permutations. proctor j.wright Wilson - - - - - proctor poole sissis - - - - - summers hall sissis - - - - - proctor t.Kurtz sissis - - - - - proctor Howarth hall - - - - - any of these combinations and I think it would be fortress owlerton for 2015. Cue Ball 416 Posted December 3, 2014 Sissis has tweeted that he is coming to the UK in February. Think the only question marks are the fitness of Poole and Proctor - if fit they will be riding for us (I would imagine)
Dcb7 23 Posted December 3, 2014 (edited) Keep hearing Glasgow but not happened yet! Can't see the sense in that move for him, specially if Sheffield want him?[/quote Edited December 3, 2014 by Dcb7
Charlieboy 412 Posted December 3, 2014 Both these lads need to be fully fit for next season and be able to get over their injuries pretty quick. We cant afford to be carrying 2 injured rides and a new signing from the off.Potentially if this is the 7 we are tracking it looks exciting.Hope all 3 aussies can get some practice before they come over. Dcb7 23 Posted December 3, 2014 Couldn't believe what i was reading initially then it sunk in but we have them all in our midst we are only 20 odd mile from smugville so we should be used to it.Right! Let me put the record straight!Patronising? Richard always performs well at Owlerton and has always made it clear he loves the place, doesn't live a million miles away, and nearly joined us last year, (if Steady hadn't put pen to paper then it was nailed on, fact). He probably will join you up there, good luck to him. My point was simple, loves our place, lives close, get my point now? Spin king...enlighten me on your comment! spin king 1,923 Posted December 3, 2014 What do you mean Patronising?? My point was quite simply made due to where Richard was living, and by the fact he performs well at Owlerton and loves the place! Does that not make sense?? Although I like Richard and would like him at Owlerton, I certainly wouldn't be botherd if he didn't join us. Plenty of others to choose from. Spin king......'one in every village' enlighten me! Perhaps if you would explained things better then the patronising comment might not have been made. Lots of reasons for Lawson signing for Glasgow. Family connections. Likes the Glasgow track as much as the Sheffield track. A very good deal (money).

Family connections. Likes the Glasgow track as much as the Sheffield track. A very good deal (money). Family connections yes, but doesn't even speak to his dad, that's the main reason he won't ride for the Comets again anytime soon. Dont be too sure he'll be riding at Glasgow in 2015.
