Decent fella works well with other riders unlikely to improve his average but an all round solid signing

Think you might find Mr Proctor has "unfinished business" at Owlerton and will be back in Sheffield colours

Worrall and Roynon in a Bears team, dear god - would rather Arlo, Kopanka, Keskinen and Suchanek than those two!

Well Worrall might add a bit more fight and hope than that bunch, can't say much about Roynon, he's always on the sick.

Yes but none of those stated they would like to see Redcar shutdown, like Worrall did in the Speedway Star - would refuse to watch a Bears side if that scumbag ever signed for us.

I know that but it would be nice to have a challenging side, rather than cast-off's. It's very doubtful that they'd get him anyway, unless a third party was prepared to bankroll him, Havelock certainly wouldn't spend more than the bare minimum on riders, even if he had it.

would have liked rob branford at workington in his early days can remember him riding after the meeting looked really good

some riders look promosing at a young/early stage then go backwards slightly before finding there adult feet

Think you might be correct.

Victorian under 21s on the weekend at Albury.

Winner Rob Branford

Second Max Fricke

Third Jack Holder

Fourth Jack Fallon

But then again, you COULD argue, that if you turn right every time you come out of the start at the STMP, your going to end up on the shale at some point.

Nobody condones that behaviour, but by the same token a professional speedway rider going on record stating he wanted a club to go bust - well that is a low as his own dirty tactics...

BEARS FOREVER, WORRALL NEVER!

You must be a proud mummy :-) Actually I'd like to see him at Redcar if the rest of the side was strong enough to give him a bit of time.

With this consortium we are never going to be a challenging side, we all know that - the only time we ever did really well in recent years was when we got really lucky with Mickey Dyer, and that was pure luck as nobody else made him an offer - and then that same season and because of the penny pinching we didnt make a change to keep Dyer at reserve for another month which would have got us in the play-offs - the consortium are making money, they are happy - so they clearly think they dont need to spend anymore more money, which as we know is very annoying to most Bears fans.
