dontforgetthefueltapsbruv 10,706 Posted January 5, 2015 Isnt much of the work done either H&S (terracing steps that would be dangerous if left) or effectively temporary (the seating/stands) so despite the great improvement would not be a huge non retrievable outlay to date. Understandable that the home straight development is on hold if the purchase has not been finalised as this sounded as it would be a much grander more permanent nature. Baldyman 6,243 Posted January 8, 2015 Looks like rohan made a big jump in the last round of other oz champs, unfortunately it was a jump in the wrong direction.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv 10,706 Posted January 8, 2015 Looks like rohan made a big jump in the last round of other oz champs, unfortunately it was a jump in the wrong direction.had a few falls and a tapes exclusion over the 2nd and 3rd rounds.Of his 15 qualifying heats he has finished 11 winning 7 and second in 4. Not too shabby but you need to be in it to win it. So it seems he is sharp and quick but just needs to stay on! wink
Baldyman 6,243 Posted January 8, 2015 I was thinking rohan should be finishing ahead of Fricke sedgman and masters if he is to be one of the top oz youngsters. And if ward gets banned, maybe a world cup team place.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv 10,706 Posted January 8, 2015 Id say he has been on a par with them as such and of course there is still a round to go. I think he is capable of winning the round.
TheScotsman 2,483 Posted January 8, 2015 Max, Sedgy & Smiling Sam rule ok? Apart from Doyley Carte that is. C'mon the Monarchs!

witches forever 2 Posted January 8, 2015 Still none the wiser! Why would someone who doesn't even own the actual stadium spend so much money on it? Was it spent because they had an "agreement" with the owners on a price and they were sure they were buying it, before the goalposts were seemingly moved on a price by the current owners? If that's the case then it could get messy! He was doing the improvements due to a pre contract agreement between both parties.
Baldyman 6,243 Posted January 10, 2015 A better performance from rohan, but not good enough to move up the final standings.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv 10,706 Posted January 10, 2015 Look for the positives BM. It brought him in line with the pack and only a few behind Masters in 2nd. He was always going to struggle to get up the standings after his (self inflicted) falls and exclusion in rounds 2&3. He effectively lost a whole meeting out of 4. Baldyman 6,243 Posted January 10, 2015 I was being positive, that's why I said a better performance. He even beat Doyle in one race.
