Mr Blobby 2,691 Posted October 16, 2014 (edited) Another 2nd leg final but this time in the Knock out cup. Not much different to last week really with the boys in blue & gold doing all the hard work by winning the first leg by 16 points. Edinburgh will await a morning report from the skipper to make sure he will be okay and probably run R/R for Worrall. The visitors might be using R/R for Manzares who withdrew tonight from the meeting and might need a guest if Hawkins incase pi hecks up the horrible borders fever tomorrow morning. Edinburgh Craig Cook Justin Sedgmen Ma Fricke Stevie Worrall R/R Sam Masters Aaron Fox Derek Sneddon Ipswich RohanTungate Cameron Heeps Morten Risager Gino Manzares Ritchie Worrall Ritchie Hawkins Adam Ellis Edited October 16, 2014 by Mr Blobby
tyretrax 2,257 Posted October 16, 2014 Why were Edinburgh allowed R/R for Worral? How is his wife being pregnant a speedway injury?
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv 10,710 Posted October 16, 2014 Why were Edinburgh allowed R/R for Worral? How is his wife being pregnant a speedway injury? You could argue it is a result of his riding!
TheScotsman 2,484 Posted October 16, 2014 Classy comment. But we would still have won without the facility. How come reserves took two of Gino's rides? Was it not an existing injury?
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv 10,710 Posted October 16, 2014 Only some small scrap of pride to play for as far as the Witches are concerned. No chance of a win on the night let alone lifting the cup. Losing by less than the home leg may be seen as some kind of triumph!! Most likely that the Monarchs will run up around 60. Classy comment. But we would still have won without the facility. How come reserves took two of Gino's rides? Was it not an existing injury? The ref obviously felt it was a new injury. Probably the same accuracy of judgement used for letting the starts go and deciding on exclusions.

TheScotsman 2,484 Posted October 17, 2014 Stevie still out and Joe Jacobs in for Deek. Not sure if that strengthens us or weakens us!!
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv 10,710 Posted October 17, 2014 Stevie still out and Joe Jacobs in for Deek. Not sure if that strengthens us or weakens us!! Im sure it doesnt matter either way! You could have Cook and Sedgman crash out and withdraw after heat 1 and still win on aggregate. Of course I hope that doesnt happen by the way.
CaptainAudi 147 Posted October 17, 2014 Stevie still out and Joe Jacobs in for Deek. Not sure if that strengthens us or weakens us!! Makes no difference. Our top 4 will score enough between them, and Aaron will score a good 4/5 by himself. Joe will do just fine aswell
TheScotsman 2,484 Posted October 17, 2014 And Manzares out too. Suppose that means Hawkins will have to try to find his way to Armadale this time.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv 10,710 Posted October 17, 2014 And Manzares out too. Suppose that means Hawkins will have to try to find his way to Armadale this time. we need him to score 21 to have a chance of a win. Tried to put a quid on with Bet365 but they rejected it - something to do with mental capacity rules! lol
TheScotsman 2,484 Posted October 17, 2014 Should have put a quid on whether he could find his way there this time!! Not a regular attendee at the Dale!!
Bash 496 Posted October 17, 2014 Don't think it will be much of a spectacle tonight, should be a easy win for the Monarchs with the Witches demoralised after last night dire performance. Shame the Witches didn't put up more of a show last night to at least make the second leg interesting, but I think this will be as one sided as last night. Maybe Ritchie Hawkins will top score for the Witches
TheScotsman 2,484 Posted October 17, 2014 One of the very few who showed much spirit last night. What gives with the stampede for the exits after heat 14? Pretty poor show we thought.
Bash 496 Posted October 17, 2014 I was pretty pee'd off last night but I still wouldn't leave a meeting before the end, and I was one of the last out of the stadium. Didn't notice lots of people leaving early but I sit right by the start line and don't pay much attention to the crowd.
