Robinh88 571 Posted November 20, 2014 I say Richard Knight Berwick 1992 In more recent times I say Jason Doyle
Tigerite 319 Posted November 20, 2014 Sean Wilson - consistent 10 point+ average rider, one of the main reasons for Sheffield's success as a captain and rider between 1999 and 2002 and a 3 times PLRC winner.

Cj69 333 Posted November 20, 2014 Here a few of my personal favourites of recent times (last 10 years ish) all dominant during some point in their PL career. No doubt have missed some obvious candidates. Carl Stonehewer Peter Carr Shane Parker Chris Holder Sean Wilson Craig Cook Nicki Pedersen Bjarne Pedersen Hard to pin down one as the greatest but perhaps Stoney just edges it as a true PL great. waiheke1 4,295 Posted November 20, 2014 If u stretch this back to the old national League, then joe owen at Newcastle must be up there.
Storming Norman 23 Posted November 20, 2014 Joe Owen. He seemed to average 11 season upon season. Plus he was very exciting to watch.

diamond@heart 399 Posted November 20, 2014 Joe Owen. He seemed to average 11 season upon season. Plus he was very exciting to watch. If u stretch this back to the old national League, then joe owen at Newcastle must be up there. Could not agree more, have not seen a better rider since Joe Owen. Nicki Pedersen, Bjarne, Craig Watson and Carl Stonehewer to name a few have entertained, but I don't think any of them come close. Just my opinion. Matej Zagar - really, how can you include him, he was frightened to travel north of the Watford Gap!!!!
