romans lovechild 143 Posted April 23, 2015 hats off to the rebels tonight, to travel away anywhere and provide 6 different heat winners shows solidity but this scoreline should ensure that complacency does not creep in for the tigers. p.s. where was ash and josh tonight? drew2 252 Posted April 23, 2015 What a win this is and a really welcome surprise too - that's Sheffield and Peterborough we have won away at now, two of the title favourites before the season started. Superb result. Have faith Najjer! Obvously Benji is struggling so if the management can pull an rabbit out the hat there i think the team is PL contenders again for the fourth year in a row. The NZ lad at Eastbourne looks good if he is a 3.00 average?
Blackadder 280 Posted April 23, 2015 To be fair, Benji rode a lot better than his score suggests. Tigers were let down by poor scores from Ashley and Josh.
mdmc82 2,878 Posted April 23, 2015 (edited) Sounds like a good debut meeting for Garrity. Shame Sheffield didn't get the win. Edited April 23, 2015 by mdmc82
Hel'n'Back 146 Posted April 23, 2015 Bad day at the office, let's move onwards and upwards! Was the poor show from Ashley and Josh mechanical or mindset?
DAVEK 66 Posted April 23, 2015 Cook did what was asked if him. Garrity pulled in the points which was not bad for his first meeting. Andre pulled it out of the bag in heat 15. But where oh where where Ash and Josh????? Sorry to say that the team couldn't cover their poor contribution tonight. Hope this is a blip and they come back fighting on Saturday.......... Mightily disappointed ...
Tigerite 319 Posted April 23, 2015 (edited) Thanks to Cookie great job. Jason, Andre and Arthur did ok. Ty, Ashley and Josh seemed under powered and no match for the Somerset riders who thoroughly deserved to win. Edited April 23, 2015 by Tigerite
Hel'n'Back 146 Posted April 23, 2015 Again, mechanical or mindset bearing in mind both train with Simon at POW?
Charlieboy 412 Posted April 24, 2015 Disappointing.Cookie did all he could,Andre was awesome in heat 15 and did a good job,Ty and Jason gave support,Arthur did his bit but Ash and Josh were awful.Hope it was mechanical and not down to being subdued over steadys crash. It needs sorting at Berwick or the season could start to slip away.Good luck to the lads tomorrow at Berwick, lets get back on track. Pirate Nick 1,801 Posted April 24, 2015 talk of a 5.The word from BSPA Towers is that he's a 5.
Najjer 2,890 Posted April 24, 2015 Have faith Najjer! Obvously Benji is struggling so if the management can pull an rabbit out the hat there i think the team is PL contenders again for the fourth year in a row. The NZ lad at Eastbourne looks good if he is a 3.00 average? I always have faith, just didn't expect us, or anyone for that matter to go to Sheffield and win this season so it's a fantastic result. If Benji was a pet you would of had him put down now, and it can't be any fun for him travelling all the way to Somerset every week to be half a lap behind the rest. As I've said before, anyone would do, as they can't be any worse. The word from BSPA Towers is that he's a 5. Strange why he's allowed in the NL then? 4thbender 382 Posted April 24, 2015 Thanks to Cookie great job. Jason, Andre and Arthur did ok. This isn't sour grapes (the Rebels won fair and square and hats off to them) but has Leigh Lanham undergone some sort of radical transformation since leaving Sheffield?
Starman2006 2,355 Posted April 24, 2015 Good result for the Rebels last night, certainly thought they were capable of it. Benji is better than what he's showing, spent a lot of money on equipment during the winter, must be a reason for his poor showing.
Ghosty 500 Posted April 24, 2015 This isn't sour grapes (the Rebels won fair and square and hats off to them) but has Leigh Lanham undergone some sort of radical transformation since leaving Sheffield? Like many before him Leigh Lanham now has a home track he enjoys riding - therefore enjoying being a Speedway Racer home & away!!
