BWitcher 12,453 Posted May 26, 2015 Not all people have the same make up, the likes of Pederson and a few others thrive on trotting from place to place nearly every night of the week. Keeping fit must be so hard for them, getting a few hours sleep on a plane or in a van is not the same as a good nights rest in a comfy bed. It is obvious that Tai just has not got the ability, body wise to manage to get his mind in full focus after going as last year to the GP's the EL, Poland, sweden etc. Plus he was doing so much last year raising money for Ormand Strret, with his bike rides. I think he burt himself out physically and mentally. From what was said earlier this year he was on the verge of a break down. So what do you chose to do make big money in Poland and Sweden plus the GP's and sacrifice having to fly back again to compete in the EL for less money, or take the easy route and just race at tracks and the GP's. He seems in a much better frame of mind this year. I hope he goes on to win the world tittle again this year, he is looking good this year. Only time will tell if he can stay on top it is a long way to go yet. He may just make it back here next year if he gets the win he wants. If he does win and they put him on every newspaper and tv show, I don't think it will make one bit of difference to people coming to see speedway over here. The whole product needs a big shake up. All the best to the team in the world cup, don't for one minute think they will get anywhere near the final. But at least it will give a few young lads who wil become the future of our British team a bite of the cherry. Hope they do well. What do you mean, the likes of Pedersen? He doesn't ride in the UK. Many have said, including Tai and Hancock that if it was fixed night racing then they would race here. Many have said, including Tai and Hancock that if it was fixed night racing then they would race here. That doesn't mean we have to change to accommodate them, but it illustrates that it's the schedule moreso than the money that keeps some of the top guys away. They'd probably cope if they knew it was 1, maybe 2 meetings every week. But some clubs go 2 or 3 weeks without a meeting, then have 2 or 3 weeks where they ride 10 times. It's madness. By the way have you had any offers for your software, or are the powers that be just to blind to be able to see that they could make you a good offer for your product or are just to damn mean. It is not in his own long term interest to snub the Elite League. There is a difference between riding in the British Elite League and the top Danish League. In the Elite league you may find yourself riding; Belle Vue on the Monday Poole on the Wednesday Swindon on the Thursday Coventry on the Friday (providing there is no GP) The Danish League is run only on a Wednesday. The Elite League asks for a high commitment level for little financial reward. That is why the likes of Pedersen, Hancock, Hampel, Jonasson, Kasprzak, Jensen do bothered with the league and Jonsson who appears after starting in the league has now turned his back on riding in the league. Look at the GP standings so far the top 4 riders all have given the Elite League a miss, the Elite league far to demanding, and until Promoters and fans alike accept that top level speedway in this country should be run on one night only the top riders in the World are more likely to give riding in the league a miss. 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Provided there are no injuries involved I would expect Tai to finish ahead of Holder in the GPs at the end of the Season.
