His first name was Gunter, which sounds as if he could have been German or Austrian. Had little success in New Cross second halves and disappeared at the end of May. Guest Posted July 16, 2015 More study on the ‘Speedway Researcher’ indicates that Freudanthaler’s first name was Gunter. It also indicates he had an extended trial period at New Cross. April 12 - RESERVES SCURRY -Simmons, E Reeves, Freudanthaler, John Holder (f), 64.6. April 23 -JUNIOR SCURRY - Pennikett, Warner, Collins (f), Freudanthaler (f), 63.4. May 7 - JUNIOR SCURRY - Collins, Marren, E Reeves, Freudanthaler, 65. May 14 - JUNIOR SCURRY - E Reeves, Collins, Freudanthaler (f), Marren (f), 63.9.
