guitar_art 247 Posted July 28, 2015 BIRMINGHAM will be aiming to maintain their 100 per cent National League home record when they host King's Lynn on Wednesday (7.30). The Surestop Brummies have won 11 of their 12 league meetings in 2015 and currently sit 15-points clear at the top. Club captain Tom Perry has been declared fit to ride after recovering from a fractured bone in his hand in what is a huge boost for the team. The Perry Barr outfit will be without No.1 Adam Ellis for the visit of the Young Stars and have booked Coventry skipper Dan Greenwood to deputise. Meanwhile, with Harvie Banks still struggling from a wrist injury and Robert Parker out of action after a heavy crash during the Midland Development League last week, Graham Drury has opted to use Rye House No.8 George Hunter at reserve alongside Adam Kirby. Not only will there be 15 heats of National League action, but there will also be a six-race second-half meeting between the Birmingham Bulls and the Exeter Falcons. Not forgetting that teenage sensation Zach Wajknecht will once again be defending his recaptured Bronze Helmet in a match race against a nominated King's Lynn rider. Brummies boss Drury is looking forward to a jam-packed night in the second city. He said: "First and foremost, we want to get back on the winning trail and it always means a lot to everyone at Birmingham Speedway to get one over King's Lynn. "There's no easy match at any level of speedway and all of our riders will need to do their respective jobs for the team. "It's great to have Tom back and I'm sure Dan will prove to be a fine choice of guest once again. "It promises to be a great occasion on Wednesday and there's plenty to keep the public entertained. It will be great value for money with seven extra races for exactly the same price! "We'll also be holding our annual Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund collection and we urge supporters to give what they can to what is a very important cause." BIRMINGHAM BRUMMIES: Dan Greenwood, Alex Wilson, Sam Chapman, Zach Wajtknecht, Tom Perry, George Hunter, Adam Kirby. KING'S LYNN YOUNG STARS: Jake Knight, Scott Campos, Ryan Kinsley, Shane Hazelden R/R, Tom Stokes, Layne Cupitt, Josh Bailey. BIRMINGHAM BULLS: Alex Wilson, Stephen Whitehouse, George Hunter, Sean Phillips EXETER FALCONS: Tom Bacon, Nick Phillips, Tyler Govier, Steven Anderson. Not to mention the banana skins waiting for us at Buxton and Mildenhall (assuming that it will still be running by the time our fixture eventually gets rearranged there)... No such thing as a trick track, just those who haven't learnt to turn the bike (yet).

david2905 230 Posted August 1, 2015 Eastbournes 3 cornered wonder baffles even more at this level with inexperienced riders so saying you win at home on it is hardly something to be proud of, Rye House are far more worthy of recognition in bringing down the Brummies.
