Ben91 1,743 Posted January 28, 2016 Mear and Bridger could job share, as neither will do a full season. Half a half-assed job each? What could go wrong?
Alan_Jones 1,005 Posted January 29, 2016 It's Peter Karger. Not a bad shout I suppose and he should have some pretty good engines. http://ryehouserockets.co/news.php?extend.1188

Django 159 Posted January 29, 2016 Thought Danes were on a 7.00? Or has he not ridden in the top leagues?
arnieg 3,651 Posted January 29, 2016 well done rye, better than Klindt potential wise and you get another asset Think you'll be waiting some time before his average gets near Klindt. It's not a signing to get me excited. There are a lot of better Danish prospects, unfortunately most of them have ridden in the DSL making their assessed average 7.00 whereas Karger comes in at 5.00. At best an OK signing, if it is for the long term.

Reviresco 708 Posted January 29, 2016 if aussies are now a 5 perhaps they all are from wherever..... Think that's right and also thought that 'new' foreign 5.00 riders' averages cannot dip below 5.00 during the season even if they do not obtain a mark of 5.00. Karger rode in the 'Farewell to The Abbey' meeting at the end of last season and showed signs of a reasonable gater, but struggled with the bends.

Should be fine on the wide sweeping turns at Rye House then

Reviresco 708 Posted January 29, 2016 Sweeping wide FLAT turns if rumours are to be believed? If those rumours are true, I can imagine Cam Heeps performing below his usual Hoddesdon standards which would be a shame for the lad and the supporters.
Ben91 1,743 Posted January 29, 2016 Meh. Oh well, a point under the limit, that's more like it for a Rye team.
Alan_Jones 1,005 Posted January 29, 2016 (edited) Meh. Oh well, a point under the limit, that's more like it for a Rye team. Needs must. After Klindt baled out it was always going to be a 5 pointer. I think he's a better option than any of the untried colonials. Edited January 29, 2016 by Alan Jones
barraider 55 Posted January 29, 2016 Oh well the teams in place, shame the stadium is not. Going to pop down over weekend and see if there has been any work carried out on the bombsite.
