With a British 3 point rider having to start at reserve it does make me wonder whether the club will persevere with Coty Garcia at reserve. Of course if they do it would allow for a powerful top 5 but I feel a lot of clubs will try and go down the route of a high scoring reserve rider where possible.

Hard to say. Edinburgh proved this year that you don't need huge scoring reserves to win meetings. But in the past reserves not scoring has been the achilles heel of Berwick sides.

Lets face it the "Cook "factor makes a huge difference. No other Team had that,on top of that hardly any TEAMS can ride the Dale so home wins were relatively straight forward .We have the situation where everybody can ride Berwick and if they gate were in trouble as Home advantage seems nil whatever type of Team we put on track. how many seasons now has Ht13 & 15 been our Achilles heel, along with the Black and white tactical. Entertaining meetings must be the priority whatever Type of Team we assemble.

That's true enough. I suppose a what suits one side doesn't suit another and just because it works for Edinburgh doesn't mean that it'll work for us. If you manage to win all your home meetings and pick up a handful of points away, you are going to be there or there abouts

Highly unlikely

howcome? at end of season dance Vissing Jorgensen Doolan and Garcia hinted on being back, Barker has 'unfinished business', Seb is back racing and have heard off several people he is back at Berwick next season and Liam is our asset and will be one of the NL picks? how is that highly unlikely?

What helps is signing a rider who under performed alarmingly in 2014, then puts two points on his average the following year.

That's true. Sadly won't be the last time this happens .

If that was our side I'd be very happy but I really don't think it will be! Not unless our backers to the promotion have put some serious wonga in!
