For Sky or any TV company to film broadcast quality footage there are few things that have to be right and one of the most important is lighting and we are lucky at berwick having the football floodlights plus the extras the promotion put on the corners also we have the best studio location going on the 3rd bend

Unless some of the riders are riding elsewhere it would make sense but having announced there`ll be no meeting next Saturday it would be un-wise to reverse that decision now, yes there`s the news letter, Facebook page etc but I would imagine there`s a sizeable percentage of our crowd that wont have internet access.

After last nights fiasco there maybe a sizable percentage of our crowd that would not bother :cry::cry:

Didn't the self confessed " Coffin Dodger " on the centre green state that the club had delayed announcing the fact that there would be no meeting until last night because they wanted to make sure first ?

The riders said, they were having a closed practice session next week. Got to say the track that was prepared in a way that it played to Sheffields strengths, why prepare a track in a way that they must know that Scandinavian riders epecially do not like.

If the Berwick riders are attending a practice at Shielfield, Workington are having to put on a filler meeting, as was suggested yesterday it would have been an idea to run the second leg of the Border Trophy or whatever its called. Not a PL meeting but better than practice. Reading the Workington Somerset thread it was mentioned that Workington were keen on the idea, to late now though.

So no meeting this Saturday, the suggestion of having Border Trophy out of the question as Workington now staging a pairs meeting. Alternatively Glasgow have no meeting this Saturday, so the meeting that has been cancelled on June 25 th due to sky visit on Monday 27th could possibly have filled this spare date.
