INCOGNITO 357 Posted November 29, 2015 TOP riders isn't restricted to those in the SGP ... plenty like Sayfutdinov, Vaculik, Pawlicki, Dudek who might be tempted by a different British schedule. Emil Sayfutdinov not interested unless one night but can many clubs afford him and I don't think some of the others like Vaculik would come likewise unless it is sharing a position Probably putting 2 + 2 together and making 5, wouldn't be the first time , but is it possible that the Cradley thing is to help facilitate a Wolves move to Wednesday in the near future to accommodate the one race night for the EL. Others closer to it than me seem to be indicating that Ladbrokes want to retain Monday speedway and the stadium is not in use on Wednesdays? Putting 2 and 2 together and getting 7 it could be looked at as Cradley having the premium fixtures in the Premier League and Wolves struggling to get the crowds for the Elite League with some teams looking doubtful for 2017 already. Either make a short league of the Elite League or drop it all to Premier league level and get 22 teams involved for weekly action but this would mean no space for two teams at Monmore Green !! Wolfsbane 12,944 Posted November 29, 2015 I doubt CVS would think that at all. He has said many times that Wolves will always be in the top flight whilst HE is promoting. Music to my ears. And that's where it'll get interesting.
stevebrum 6,842 Posted November 29, 2015 Wolves struggling to get the crowds for the Elite League with some teams looking doubtful for 2017 already. Which teams? Coventry are planning to run at Leicester when they close Brandon. Who else has expressed doubt already?
INCOGNITO 357 Posted November 29, 2015 Lakeside are unsure about the venue Swindon are looking at a year in the Abbey waiting for a stadium Coventry said they could share with Leicester but that would only be temporarily as they look That's 3 of the

Swindon have the abbey as back up but have seen no concerns about their long term future. Coventry doesn't appear a concern for 2017 with Leicester offering the track. 2018 onwards maybe. magnificentseven 245 Posted November 29, 2015 Why is it? The top boys are all saying the same thing. Poland and Sweden have a reduced league programme which is clearly the way forward and works perfectly. Crowds are decent but then so are team strengths , it's not rocket science. These top boys aren't holding us to ransom, they don't need that many meetings here as they entitled to do. If we seriously want a league with any credibility then the top boys need to be here. We need them here. If we want to carry on with a reduced strength league and do nothing then people need to stop bleating about how poor the EL is and ditch it. Then the powers that be can have one big league with more fans disappearing and any chance of a future well and truly dead. Thank god the promoters are looking at a job share for 2017. And hopefully the start of making the EL ELITE again. The job share scheme will just add to the general farce. The riders will not agree on a schedule as they will want to miss the same meetings. Peter Adams has mentioned this fact at a previous talk in so it is strange to hear him now being an advocate of the system. Wolfie
heathen chemistry 660 Posted November 29, 2015 hows this for an idea bspa.....instead of a max of 3 heatleaders per team it should instead be 3 foreigners . giving a chance for the brits to progress properly . and before any poole fans say there not enough brits theres plenty only ten except reserves needed.... harris. nichols . cook. king. lambert. kennet.lawson.barker.worrall.garrity.bridger. Hopefully between the 2 shared riders a suitable arrangement could be reached. I'd rather this than a further weakening year on year.
heathen chemistry 660 Posted November 30, 2015 (edited) the top riders all have the same schedules.......so shared number ones would be hard for most teams ...... adams is only saying it cuz woffy would probably ride over here if he cud pick and choose his matches iversen has also said the same , but the problem lies with who would they share with? just stick to the foreigners that want to ride over here have a maximum of 3 foreigners per team... with the way things are going with many riders not wanting or needing to ride over here we really need to start creating our own riders to fill the teams ,something that should of started yrs ago but we have buffoons in charge at the scb/bspa ... when you have teams that keep signed young poles and swedes and aussies the brits dont stand a chance..... i see wolves/lakeside/poole triangle still in cahoots with oneanother....bech coming to wolves , hmmm..... more deals coming Edited November 30, 2015 by heathen chemistry

Personally I would say minimum three brits (Inc reserves).

Wolfie The top foreign riders aren't all in the GPs so why would they need or want the same schedule of meetings?! I assume in the shared number 1 scenario that the 2 riders would alternate on a weekly basis or so?! The GP riders in the non-GP weeks and so on...... Nor does any Poole fan have any input in to what Matt Ford does but we all get it in the neck! Well one or two might have some input!!!!!!!!!
