Somerset V Rye Ko Cup. 11.9.15

Recommended Posts

Thumping win for the Rebels last night, should make the second leg a formality. I would normally be attending the second leg at Rye but I have a family wedding to attend. However I shall be keeping an eye on proceedings ha.

Not sure why nobody who went last night has started this thread off so, look forward to reading comments now👍

Good win for the Rebels .

Fast from the gates made the rockets look like they were going backwards.

Was impressed with young mr lambert on his 1st appearance at the OTA.

Didn't expect the ht15 line up to be what it was but the Rebels pair made easy work of it in the end.

Any point in the second leg? Make it Plymouth only and save us £4 and an early night

Don't think your riders would appreciate that as their earnings would be down! Edited by Willowman

If they're anything like us they'll want the season over ASAP

Hope the track holds up better tonight over the two matches. On the rebels last visit to rye that was a double header that only managed 4 heats in the second match!

Obvious this would happen. Ignoring the injuries, to put a side out that is so top heavy is asking for trouble. Can't cope with RR and the expectancy for the top three to come up with 30+ points in every single meeting is ridiculous. Historically it never works unless you have two very good reserves in place and that we have not got. Knee jerk reaction from the promoters to replace the two Swedes. Think they were looking for brownie points with the inclusion of Robert Lambert but the idiots have made the side weaker (If that was possible)

Edinburgh managed pretty well with 3 riders scoring double figures every week and a couple of 3 point reserves.

It's not helped that Nikolaj went off the boil two or three months ago and Kasper STILL can't gate to save his life

That's a bit simplistic Shads.

Sedgy is now up to 3rd the current GSA's which has meant we have had pretty much 4 riders scoring double figures.

Didn't seem to bother them last night, Kennett and Lambert apart!

Kennett and Perry were the only ones not carrying injuries
