Starman2006 2,356 Posted November 15, 2015 Thing is starman is that if and when their club wins they will all be beating their drums at Poole and will have forgotten that they said winning wasn't everything. Dear me now I'm getting involved in all this tripe and not watching that porn film I put on. Have to rewind now. How I hate going back over things. Shame its on the b ox, bet you wouldn't mind doing a re-take, and going back over things !!

Gemini 4,894 Posted November 16, 2015 It's been 5 years - time to move on and get over it There are some things I will never get over or forget and that is one of them. Sorry but I'm pretty good at bearing grudges. There were both when Swindon won the EL at Wimborne Road - maybe it's just a Bees thing! More likely it was because Poole were top of the league and Coventry were a mere 4th that didn't go down too well. I'm sure Matt thought it would be an easy victory and didn't expect Bees to beat them home and away. Yes, home and away fair and square so his actions afterwards were pathetic. I thought so 5 years ago and I still think the same now. Really funny that Coventry still bleat about fireworks and cold showers from god knows how long ago on the distant past. Mind you they havent had to much to cheer about since then have they?☺️ As we all know it was to do with that Trump guy, who nearly ended Coventry Speedway the following year. When Swindon won the league at Poole there were certainly champagne and fireworks for the Robins. But 2010 is so yesterday and almost ancient history. We don't know that at all as It was nothing to do with Trump. The trouble between the 2 clubs happened afterwards in the Winter. It was purely the actions of a selfish. miserable promoter who didn't like his team losing.

Only Poole do that!!!!) by deliberately not letting Pawlicki have his 12th meeting (how many matches did he miss?? 10 or 12??) to get an actual average and move into the top 5 of their team, therefore staying at reserve for the playoffs?? Guess who top scored in both legs of the final??!!!!!

Steve0 5,517 Posted November 16, 2015 Strange, the Poole website says Bucowski is a Peterborough asset. Still, I guess you know best Apologies for the incorrect information. I meant that they were not assets of the team currently running Peterborough.
DunRobin 465 Posted November 16, 2015 The trouble with the "blue tints" is that you are not allowed to remember the past & all their previous demeanours. It must be the sea air, it causes memory loss. If Leigh Adams says you cheated, you cheated, I know who I am likely to believe!!

If Leigh Adams says you cheated, you cheated, I know who I am likely to believe!! Spot on. The past is irrelevent to them and the damage they have caused the sport. But hey ho they have won 3 on the trot and in the words of their main fool 'its only winning that counts'
