OGT 612 Posted December 12, 2015 Sorry to report the passing of Derek Timms after a short illness. He was a great servant to the sport and rode for many teams over the years, Cradley probably being his most well known. He was a smashing bloke and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Bryn 413 Posted December 12, 2015 My deepest condolences to his family and friends and, as well as Cradley fans, he'll always remain in the memory of those who saw him in action in the late Sixties for the Crayford Highwaymen. R.I.P. Derek.
Guest Posted December 12, 2015 (edited) I had a hand in persuading Derek Timms to make a come-back with Aldershot in 1959 despite his protestations that he was finished as a rider with the sport. RIP Derem Timms. http://wwosbackup.proboards.com/thread/2854/derek-timms Edited December 12, 2015 by Guest

britmet 233 Posted December 13, 2015 Never forgotten for his time at Cradley, particularly when arthritis gave him a unique straight-leg style, but he kept turning out every week. Many thanks for the enjoyment, Derek..
