Trouble is Kerr's 2.5% reduction isn't in the rulebook but 16.2.6 is, which is why the referee, Ritchie Hawkins and you should have paid more attention to PL GSA issue 1 which came out Friday afternoon. Kerr's starting 2016 PL GSA is 6.85 and not 7.03.

To be honest, I thought Ritchie Hawkins had made a howler on the day, because I'd seen PL GSA 1 on Friday. But turned out Ritchie was right - I was wrong. Yes, his GSA for team-building purposes is 6.85. But not when it comes to determining race order (including R/R eligibility), and therefore Covatti wasn't eligible for a ride.
