Beowulf 1,513 Posted April 3, 2016 Is this meeting not affected by the same weather risk as Kings Lynn?? Unfortunately, yes.
R87 476 Posted April 3, 2016 Can only see a rain off tomorrow. Forecast is awful.
van wolfswinkel 635 Posted April 3, 2016 Comfortable home win if it's on, not The Roobins fav track...Wolves have a decent line-up this year.
Lefty 1,268 Posted April 3, 2016 Can we expect last weeks Belle Vue proggy with an insert? At full price????
INCOGNITO 357 Posted April 3, 2016 Wolves are the dark horses for me. Will always have a strong reserve unless Thorsell drops into it. Jacob averaged around 8 points as a second string so as a reserve he would average around 11. More chance of Bech or Masters dropping to reserve once the rain allows them to ride enough home meetings with the forecasts and Mondays taken up by Cradley on the alternative weeks. Wolves pulled off a great win at Coventry and would be expected to win here too

stevebrum 6,824 Posted April 4, 2016 Sadly, I fear another heavy loss here for Swindon. Even though Josh, Charles and Rohan all looked quick at Somerset on Friday. I just don't get the right vibes with this year's line up. Hope I'm wrong. Wolves to win by 20. I'll have some of what you're having right now! I hope you are right. Swindon to me look one of the stronger 2 or 3 behind Poole and the Aces. So just reckon this week will be a better indicator for both clubs. Fingers crossed on the weather. noggin 1,390 Posted April 4, 2016 Wolves look a decent outfit this year, especially when you have Kyle/Sam swapping places so strong reserve, would be happy for a point from this one, but think wolves to win by 10-15.
A ORLOV 8,628 Posted April 4, 2016 Can anyone from Wolverhampton report on weather please?
Reliant Robin 492 Posted April 4, 2016 I also have Wolves down as dark horses and think they will make the Playoffs this year with Poole, Belle Vue and hopefully Swindon! Perhaps they're not so dark after all!! Can't see Swindon coming away with anything from this one. Potential is there in the Swindon line-up but I think it may take a few more meetings before a couple of them are firing on all cylinders. Wolves have only had one meeting so far though, so we have that in our favour....but going on that one meeting they're looking decent enough

Brummie Kev 519 Posted April 4, 2016 Thinking of coming to this if the weather behaves, hope its dry in Wolverhampton like its is in Walsall at the minute.
Beowulf 1,513 Posted April 4, 2016 Can anyone from Wolverhampton report on weather please? I am about 2 miles from track, working in city centre. We had heavy showers at lunchtime, but nothing since. There was standing water in the roads at that point, but has now dried up and gone. It is a little overcast, but if it stays like this, everything should be okay. Wolves web-site not saying anything about problems.
stevebrum 6,824 Posted April 4, 2016 Whats the weather like up there Steve? I will be in attendance as always. I'm in Birmingham as I've mentioned before so I'd trust the updates from the local folk. Obviously I will be in attendance as usual, in my usual place, doing updates as I usually do every Monday.
