Leicester V Belle Vue 09.04.16

Recommended Posts

Was looking forward to coming down for this one but having checked several weather sites its forecasting rain from 5 pm to 10 pm, these days its certainly not worth travelling unless the forecast is bang on, will have to leave it till the very last minute to decide.

Just looking at the teams for tonight and have discovered that the Vue riders have a total average of nearly 49 at Leicester (Elite league matches only). Surprisingly the rider with the lowest average is Scott Nichols with 6.25, the highest is Bomber with 8. So it will need a really good performance by the Lions to get a win.

Typical Speedway weather when it's hard to decide what to do. It doesn't look too bad from this forecast, but it is raining a bit at the moment. https://weather.com/en-GB/weather/hourbyhour/l/Leicester+LCE+United+Kingdom+UKXX0079:1:UK

Weather is dry from 5pm think the few showers will be good for the track, no threat of sun breaks so that's good.

Big belle vue win unless lions 1-5 can surprise everyone and turn up this week.

Im going to be travelling down tomorrow, hope the weather is like its been here today. We never seem to do well at Leicester and Lakeside have done us no favours as the pelters the Lions riders recieved from their promotion after that meeting will no doubt have them more fired up. Zagar does not like the track at all so Bomber appears a better fit for us, wonder how Matej would find the track now its been altered?

Not necessarily , previous "Pelters" have resulted in riders leaving the club . or making even less effort . at the end of the day .you cannot go out and buy a Reliant Robin , shout abuse at it and expect it to perform like a Ferrari

I'm about 5 miles from track, light showers, paths are damp , but wouldn't have thought track would be affected too much.

So someone has had the sack then according to Norrie. Doesn't take a genius to work out who. But who will be replacing him? Aaron Summers?

Why, has Aaron had previous experience as a team manager?
