Who Has Ridden At Most Uk Tracks?

It appears Parsloes 1928 that this automatic spell change is fairly common place and that it is possible to overcome it via this Link. But is the information applicable to all systems? Anyway it may be of use to some BSF members so here's the information I have which was sent to me via a PM from another BSF member.

What on earth have instructions about changing the auto-correct settings in MS Office got to do with you mistyping words on this forum via your browser?

You do realise that MS word and the other programs in the MS Office suite are totally unconnected to your browser?

Rob Hollingworth up to 61 and queries on about 10 tracks which I'm trying to find out. It's really tricky, because he rode in Southern Track meetings after his Conference League comeback.

Just found details of a STRA meeting he did at the Isle Of Wight.

All the best

Rob

I only saw Rob Hollingworth ride in his Conference League days. He was an excellent performer and a credit to the sport. :approve:

The data on Rob Hollingworth does not detail the Conference League era. I would like to see the Hollingworth record for that period if any BSF member has it available please.

If I am correct, besides riding for Boston in the Conference League, Rob Hollingworth also made a couple of guest rider appearances for Wimbledon?

This is a Link to an article about Rob Hollingworth that appeared on SpeedwayPlus in 2001.

I was interested to read in the SpeedwayPlus article that Rob Hollingworth's brother Nicky was also a rider at one-time.

I just wish someone could tell me how on earth I can confirm what tracks Jimmy Squibb rode at between 1947 and 1950 (inc), his first Southampton spell, info which is not yet available on the excellent Speedway Researcher website.

I might have missed it because I only scanned through the posts but I can't see Neil Collins name. He was the first one I thought of, a career spanning almost 30 years he must be up there?

There is a record in the yearbook covering 1977 that he rode for Boston (1), Glasgow (11) and Stoke (3). He doesn't appear to have ridden in official team events before or after 1977.

I make it around 51 (though I don't have a lot of info on 82-84 and 86-88). If you want a list of tracks then I will give them. He rode when there was a period of stability in terms on the tracks he could ride on something not helped in that I can find no record of him having ridden on a 'division 3' level track.

Hope that helps ?

Many thanks, BL65, compost and all who have contributed to this and for indulging me.

Am I right in thinking we should increase Jimmy Squibb's tally to 69....?

He rode at TWO of Birmingham's Perry Barr tracks: Alexander Sports Stadium (50s) and at the greyhound stadium (August 19, 1974).
