Panthers89 1,922 Posted June 11, 2016 Probably one of our harder meetings of the season at home to be honest. Workington bring Panthers specialists in Hansen and Vissing, throw in Wells aswell, and then the reserves of Roynon and Williamson, another tough meeting ahead. We welcome back Ully and Emil to the side, and hopefully Busk quickens up those engines! Line up looking like: 1. Cook 2. R/R 3. Busk 4. Emil 5. Ully 6. Lambert 7. Holub 1. Wells 2. Jensen 3. Hansen 4. Campton 5. Vissing 6. Roynon 7. Williamson Reserve battle will be interesting, as Roynon of late been good going, I think a home win, but like Glasgow, will be tight to the end. Will be weird seeing Hansen in a Comets Kevlar. Will Morriseyfan go to the Workington Promotors and ask for him to be released due to him being unhappy, that's the big question....... Panthers 50-40 Comets

jenga 2,998 Posted June 11, 2016 (edited) i think it could be mason @ 2 and rasser @ 4 for workington . slight team reshuffle and hopefully you will see the real adam roynon . adams be really good in the last 2 weeks . there , thats put the kiss of doom on adam . hope not . heard a rumor that rene bach is in @ number7 for matt ! look forward to see if morrissey fan approaches the management and tries to bribe them with his 2 months supply of nappies and sugar dummies and tries to take K.K.H.out of our team . i am surprised he still attends because the peoples champion is not riding @ p/borough this season ... hope for a good close meeting and an entertaining one . Kenneth has his own Kevlar suit and wears a race jacket on top .. , just like he did when he was guesting for ya .. so why would it be strange seeing him in his proper suit , when you haven't seen him in a panthers suit ? anyhow i will stop being picky . enjoy the meeting . LagutaRacingFan 1,936 Posted June 11, 2016 I think Hansen will struggle to motivate himself for this match, It's difficult riding against your club and he'll be keen for the Panthers to notch up another win. As for this meeting; another straight forward Panthers win. We are simply too good, It's men against boys.

Morrissey Fan doesn't think it's a story he believes it's already written and he did predict the correct score against Glasgow.

Lukas 911 Posted June 12, 2016 (edited) I think this will be a tougher test than Glasgow so the boys need to be on it from the off..realy fancied this Worky team to do well this season and with 4 showground specialists in Hansen, Wells, Vissing and Roynan then Cookie will have to lend NJB and the boys his gating gloves for us to do them! Let's hope the weather don't ruin it. Edited June 12, 2016 by Lukas

22A 3 Posted June 13, 2016 Let's hope that rain band gets through quicker than expected tomorrow Eleven hours on from your post and it's been constant rain since. As an aside, I heard Cook's interview on local radio this morning. He claims to be suited to the large EofE track which is why he's doing well here.
Crump99 4,476 Posted June 13, 2016 (edited) Eleven hours on from your post and it's been constant rain since. Showers forecast all day Tuesday with heavy rain from 7 - 9 pm. If the track has survived the deluge of the last couple of days (which it hasn't) then I can't see them taking the gamble based on the current forecast. I'm surprised that it hasn't been called off but unless there is a sudden heatwave then I expect this'll be off in the morning Edited June 13, 2016 by Crump99
