g13webb 4,254 Posted July 22, 2016 No doubt the Shale issue will come back to haunt us. We have only managed 15 meetings in the first 4 months of the season. I've lost count of the number of rain-offs we've had. We now have to 13 meetings left to squeeze in the last 6 weeks before the playoffs. Our next meeting is away to Swindon 4th Aug. followed by Poole at home on the 11th . We don't stand a chance in hell of getting them all completed...... Full teams of riders every match, 100% committed to the sport in this country riding on nights when it suits the club best so they can generate their best crowd and income? The Pl does that and it never generates crowds or income so why would anyone want to do that ..people like Rory nearly spent the rest of his life in a wheelchair after his crash last year but some people want him to risk his life on a dangerous track ....and when he chooses not to that people say he's not committed .
