COVENTRY | The Association are not satisfied the club can complete a full league season and therefore the licence has been placed on ice.

We sincerely hope circumstances can improve during the course of this year which will enable them to return to the track in the 2018 season.

COVENTRY | The key issues:

* Short term agreement with Leicester.

* No guarantee of Brandon return.

* Financial support for club withdrawn.

Just read the key issues. Clearly Brandon Estates have no intention of allowing the Bees back.

So was this always going to happen? Have they just been stringing along all the fans and riders from day one .

Sad times.

Heartache for the Coventry fans .

Let us hope that it is only a temporary one year departure.

Losing Coventry permanently would be a great loss to Speedway

Feel for the Fans & Riders. Riders are left completely screwed. Only hope that Belle Vue could fit a couple in maybe, or will a team make changes to fit them in.

Heartbreaking for the Bees fans, who most are a decent sort.

Sad times for the Sport.

Some finance has seemed to have been withdrawn in recent days probably from Brandon Estates. Gutted, absolutely gutted.

Oh FFS!! Literally a fortnight until the curtain raiser with the Ben Fund we get this bombshell.

Obviously there was lingering doubts about the longer term future, but I certainly expected the Bees to start the season after the "agreements" a couple of weeks ago.

Really feel for the Bees supporters.

Dear BSPA,

Can we please block the name 'Horton' for ever owning a club again? Oxford/Mildenhall/Panthers/Coventry 2010 and now Coventry 2017, how many more times do you want them to ruin/end a club.

Really sad to hear the news about the Bees - I really hope this isn't the end for the club. Sad, sad news for all of their fans.

Those poor riders! Absolute effing disgrace. What is it with these people..

We'll that's me done!

I hope all of you involved in this are happy, how you live with yourselves is beyond belief.

I hope your greed takes you down on a bad and painful way..

I believe it was Horton who sold the land that started this.

Utter tragedy for the Bees FANS and riders.

No one in charge really seems to care.

Well done Sandhu, you got what you intended.
