Berwick 2017 50th Year

Recommended Posts

Robert Branford was an entertaining reserve each time he visited with Rye House and Simon Lambert always scores well on his visits to Berwick. Would be happy to see either of those in Berwick colours next season. Would like to see Bellego, Doolan and Jorgensen as a heat leader trio and Liam Carr made big strides last season. Wouldn't mind Stuart Robson either. Whether we can attract any of those riders who knows. Just knowing speedway would be back next season would make me happy.

You're dreaming as far as Rob Branford is concerned, sorry.

Don't suppose we would get Robert Branford, or for that matter Simon Lambert, but both very handy riders round Shielfield for their averages.

We already had Branford and let him go.Perhaps we should have kept him after he go injured riding for us .

To be honest the Jed Rathbone rumour is only one of 4 rumours that are circulating consistantly

You can have (Jed Rathbone ) whoever he is Panthers will stick with Ged Rathbone thank you

Berwick prefer the Beverley Hillbillies version ;)

The rumour was , he was taking P/Boro EL and wanting a PL club to bring on riders for the EL. Not that he was leaving P/Boro.

Statement is very clear that Peterborough will be PL.

having stated in Star that he "isn't a rich man" I think he would have needed substantial financial backing from elsewhere to consider running two clubs, especially one in Elite League!
