Berwick 2017 50th Year

As are we as it states the MC can alter Dany's average not that they will/will not

Totally agree and Ive stated at least twice that I can see why it has been.

I think where the problem lies with debates like this is that human nature dictates that people link their view to how it affects their team this time and not what is right/fair regardless of when or who it affects.

If only Ipswich were as forward thinking as Berwick and had track covers allowing that meeting to go ahead and all this nonsense would be resolved!

Berwick would not get David Howe then!

and if they did in this case and not another, or vice versa it just causes uproar and accusations of prejudice - madness to have a rule stating MC could/may/might implement something - of course always in the best interests of the sport!!

Don't know what all the fuss is about, not exactly strengthened the team, Howe and Morris are only like for like with Vissing and Berge, and Etheridge weakens the team at No 2, Payne is not a massive step up either.

Knowing Dennis Mac would be fairly heavily involved in David Howe's paperwork I would be very surprised if this does not stand as is. Can't see the club making an announcement if not been ratified first by BSPA unless someone has jumped the gun. As said earlier surprised no input from the Crescent Girlie.

Bandits have Dennis and others who have been doing this stuff for decades and will be guiding the enthusiasm of the new ownders wisely so it will be approved and if it isnt will be evidence yet again of the powers that be not caring if Bandits live or die. The new BSPA have a lot to answer for in scrapping rolling averages which were brought it to stop riders getting instant averages and creating this sort of circumstance.

Like for like ? After 5 meetings Morris actually top of Swindon averages on GSA averages so more than adequate replacement for Vissing.

Vissing was a good rider, but had a rubbish attitude, was capable of scoring double figures on a regular basis

I read on the Berwick website last week that no Berwick team is complete without local hero Liam Carr ...

Is this not the case anymore ?
