Bees_Man 454 Posted September 15, 2016 So what happens if Andersen rides before the next Poole meeting?!
Gavan 5,062 Posted September 15, 2016 We had kk guesting for us a week or so ago on a plus 8 average. Lindbacks last average was 7.91 if I recall. So he fits easily enough. Remember, this deal could have been in place a week after Hans injury and only announced today. do you know the rules??? 5% for being at home. at least learn the rules buddy So clearly the deal was finalised a while back and released after the 14th September. Having not ridden here for a while Toninio got a slight reduction on his average. i agree, i think Hampel could come in a 5 then
lisa-colette 6,058 Posted September 15, 2016 Quite simple, aside from the manipulation of Lindback's average which is downright outrageous to begin with, we also have the fact that Andersen does not have a 'long term' injury. He's ridden recently then? Til he does or doesn't ride on Saturday, there is no fact!
colin wood 249 Posted September 15, 2016 The sad thing is some fans will think they are worthy winners if they triumph in the play offs.Got to be a rule brought out that you have to have ridden so many league matches in order to qualify to ride in the play offs.
naffer 442 Posted September 15, 2016 Once all the teams have declared their teams at the start of the season why oh why is there not a list of all current riders without a team placed on the bspa website showing their average for the current season be it assessed or not. It would avoid some of this speculation at least.
noggin 1,391 Posted September 15, 2016 One big question for Shovlar, are you still wanting Belle Vue to win the play-offs now?Didn't you say once Wolves brought in ringer Tai(according to you) you hoped Belle Vue would win as they have kept their 1-7.As you were writing your own teams chances off then. Now you have signed a ringer that makes you just as bad does it not.So i am assuming you still want the men from Manchester to still win Are you expecting a reply? good luck with that.... waiheke1 4,295 Posted September 15, 2016 (edited) Great signing for poole and exciting to see lindback back in the UK. But how he has been assessed on a 7 !?! As others have said, clearly ridiculous, especislly when you compare as arne g did comparable riders like Lindgren zagar and aj. Had to be a 7.5 or 8. Neither of which fits. Tbh there should simply be a mechanism in place to give an average based on average in elitseren/ekstraliga which would remove such arguments And as it is dubious whether Hans should even be replaced. Basically it's a signing which highlights both what is good and bad about ford. And whoever approved the assessment of 7 needs sanity checking (or for possession of a brown envelope 😉) Edited September 15, 2016 by waihekeaces1
lisa-colette 6,058 Posted September 15, 2016 (edited) I don't need to explain anything - we all know it is wrong but that's to be expected from CHEATING SCUMBAGS!What is wrong? Signing a rider for an injured rider is in the rules, so not cheating. Lindback hasn't ridden over here for a long time, is it in the rules that Poole can ask the other members of BSPA to have his last average looked at? Yes, still not cheating. Now if you have a problem with the average given then Poole didn't choose it other promoters would have chosen that. Possibly even the Wolves promoter agreed to it! Edit- bet you would have no problem with it if Lindback signed for Swindon on a 7. Don't turn too green with your envy Edited September 15, 2016 by lisa-colette

We brought in a replacement for an injured rider who Fricke of Belle Vue speared, obviously not intentionally, but nevertheless did, causing us to loose our heat leader. Simple as that. Webdidn't want to go into the playoffs with a rider carrying an injury so replaced him with one of our assets who hasn't ridden in the Uk for 9 seasons. Its a huge gamble and a big ask for the lad as he will have no track knowldge but he can only do his best for us and we can't ask any more than that.
Jason.C 111 Posted September 15, 2016 Can someone please confirm if a returning rider should be assessed to a 7 or 8 pt average? If 7pts after 9 years absence, it is very much fair game and a shrewd move by Mr Ford. By the haters reasoning, tai should have been reassessed to 9pts+ as he's the returning world champion.
Steve Shovlar 10,441 Posted September 15, 2016 Dudek, Vaculik, Laguta and Zmarzlik are also on the same average as Lindback.

Now if you have a problem with the average given then Poole didn't choose it other promoters would have chosen that. Possibly even the Wolves promoter agreed to it! 1. Is Hans actually out for the season? 2. If Hans rides on Saturday then Poole clearly cannot have an injury replacement 3. If Hans re-injures himself on Saturday then still no injury replacement allowed as it is too late 4. No way is Antonio Lindback a 7 - no matter how hard anyone tries to justify it 5. If you think that this is a like for like injury replacement - you are in cuckoo land 6. If the BSPA have allowed this then they are corrupt to the core 6. Poole are CHEATING SCUMBAGS!
Woz01 3,589 Posted September 15, 2016 And he has been missing way over three years, so what's the problem? Poole are allowed to ASK for it to reassessed. Pretty sure Poole didn't choose the average! I didn't say they did but it all very convenient don't you think? I've said it's a farce they've reached this conclusion.
Gavan 5,062 Posted September 15, 2016 Gets boring the elite league when season after season the same team pull a stunt. Nothing to say anymore but boy this will go into meltdown if Hans rides on Saturday!! Don't care who wins the league now just as long as it isn't Poole with yet another hollow victory!
