Newcastle Vs Ipswich Pl Sun 18 Sept 6.30pm

Recommended Posts

Barker was abysmal when at Brough riding for my team back in May ,he seems more suited to riding for Ipswich

hopefully he has learnt some lessons from the mistakes he made and has started to put things right.

Would be best for him and any team he rides for in the future if he has....

He seems to have got over his problems and his average must be getting back to where it was. Glasgow was something personal and in his past now.

Anybody travelling today, the weather is glorious with sun out all day, warm, no wind and no threat of rain. Great meeting in expectation with two top sides in form. Why not stay behind and watch the Gems juniors taking on the all powerful Dukes from Halifax. Should be a great night of speedway.

Makes any likelyhood of a point at 'Leicester' like odds....

Damage limitation effort only??

Better to get it out of the system and rest up for Thursday.

Shame for the Newcastle fans as much as anything.

Hope they still get an entertaining match to watch.

Not sure it's even worth checking the scores on updates as it won't mean a thing .

It's just a case of how big the battering is , four riders are never going to win a meeting , no disrespect to the two reserve guests .

Let's hope as near to full strength as possible is back on Thursday.

I feel sorry for the Newcastle fans who pay good money and you have the witches turn up with half a team. What is it with management and riders who that think they can treat the paying public in this way. No wonder this sport and I use that word in the kindest sense, is an absolute joke and in any other field they would be hung out to dry. Speedway clearly thinks it is ok but this is where the BSPA, if it had any balls which it clearly does not, would step in and fine teams. No wonder no one takes this seriously. Years back this would not happen but now, it is two fingers to the paying public. Sad to say but the Louis clan are are doing a great disservice to Ipswich and the team that has such a great heritage.

Hardly the promoters fault if a rider cries off with flu a few hours before the meeting. No promoter or rider is going to go the extra mile for a pointless meeting.

Eh? Sargeant was injured on Friday, Hume has broken his collarbone and Jacobs is ill. What are "The Louis clan" supposed to do?
