Glasgow 2017

Recommended Posts

Will be superb though i wonder why placing it over the old tote board on bend 3 wouldnt be a better option.

Presumably its with potential vandalism etc in mind so it will not be permanent fixture, it will be mobile and/or possible to erect then dismantle, so its easy access for management on Bend 2 and not so easy access for any punters or members of the public that might wish tamper with it or damage it, Bend 2 is cordoned off isn't it.

Given the security situation at Ashfield I don't think vandalism would happen.

Given the consequences of the vandals they would have to be very brave.

I presume bend 2 is most visible to the majority? The Tote board wouldn't be visible on the back straight.

Tote board would possibly have the sun reflecting off it too.

Oh forgot, we have sun-off meetings don't we.

:rofl::rofl::rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

Don't know what you find funny. Ashfield has CCTV which is linked to Allied Vehicles security staff. Some Possil locals might be dodgy but they're not daft.

The big screen will be on a trailer complete with generator and can be dissmanteled in a matter of hours so can it be moved, anywhere but knowing the way they work this will not just be for the speedway it could be pulled to the front of the stand for film/GP nights concerts and can be hired out for advertising it's the biggest mobile screen in the uk just under 10 Mtrs wide x 5mtrs height

Using this years rules (don't seem the point of speculating until next years rules are in place)

1 Steve Worrall 8.51
2 Richie Worrall 8.33
3 Richard Lawson 8.17
4 Lasse Bjerre 6.65
5 Dan Bewley 4.00
6 Arthur Sissis 3.79
7 Luke Chessell 3.00
Total 42.45

You got to think the first signings would be Richard and Nike and Arron as they are club assets and with jack smith being there last week pretty sure he will be our new number 7 add in dan Bewley as that's a good rumour also think Kyle Newman and jack holder are riders that will put points on there current ave but like most team no one knows what the team limits will be so let's keep guessing

Agree with those three. Wouldn't get a #1 on Richards average, Aaron is 100% Glasgow and Nike has been terrific.

Correct me if I'm wrong but at the 2014 conference didn't they bring in a rule that premier league riders could only double up for 2 seasons maximum? Means that Richard Aaron n Richie have a choice between premier or elite this year. I hope it's a rule that's been scrapped as could cause bit of mayhem for team building this year.
