Well they could always ask you to chair the meeting to ensure that they all fell asleep with your boring trolls!

Any news yet? Have they all gone to the pub yet? Is there any white smoke rising?

Bad news, I'm afraid.

The owners of the conflab venue wouldn't let our National Leaguership chums in...........they hadn't paid the bill from last year.

Surely this should be the easiest AGM to sort...

Plymouth and Lakeside in to replace Coventry and Rye House

Set a points limit at about 38.

Stay with the no TR rule.

Don't mess with anything else.

So Belle Vue Colts will still be there, do you think?

Yes. They're at the meeting.

As far as I know Plymouth and Lakeside will replace Coventry and Rye House so the number of teams will remain the same, unless there's any other late applications to join.

When you say They, who exactly would that be?

erm...Belle Vue Colts. (That was who you asked about.....unless it was a trick question and you meant Eastbourne. By the way, if you did mean Eastbourne, they're there too).

I've also had information to the effect that Belle Vue will be in the National League in 2017, and think this is very good news.

It seems a pity to me that there is this hard core of posters who can never be anything but negative. The NL promoters will meet today and do their best collectively, to try and ensure that the league is competitive and operates smoothly. They won't solve every problem and doubtless other problems will surface during the racing season - but they'll do their best, knowing full well that whatever changes they make will be criticized by those who just can't wait to have a go at them.

I wish them well in their efforts.

I don't think I phrased my question particularly well.

I was trying to ascertain who the promoter was who is representing the Colts at this gathering.

Thanks

Its a bit of a cop out? Either go 40 or 38. 39 seems a touch pointless (point-less geddit)

Friend Pipe was suggesting 35.

Perhaps he was just kidding us.
