2 dates announced today for postponed matches

Round 4 Thursday 8th June Zielona Gora v Czestochowa start time TBA

Round 1 Sunday 23rd July Zielona Gora v Grudziadz start time TBA

TV matches announced for round 7

Friday June 2nd Zielona Gora v Wroclaw start time 5.30pm UK time

Sunday June 4th Grudziadz v Torun start time 3pm UK time

Sunday June 4th Rybnik v Leszno start time 7pm UK time

A lot of unrest amongst the Nice Polska league teams over the TV contract for the 2017 season. Their main gripes are the moving of matches to Friday/ Saturday for TV coverage and also they are unhappy about the start times- especially the 12.45 pm local time start on Sunday`s.

TV matches have been announced for round 6 Sunday May28th

Torun v Rybnik start time 3pm UK time

Gorzow v Zielona Gora start time 7pm uk time- always a friendly encounter !!!!!

If any Brits over here go to that Gorzow Zielona Gora match just remember that this is a so called higher risk match and you may have a problem getting in if you did not pre registered.

I'm heading to the Torun v Czestochowa match on Friday 4th August, the Bydgoszcz v Tarnow match on 5th August and the Leszno v Gorzow match on the Sunday, 6th August.

Should I buy tickets before, via the internet for myself and pals, or are we going to be ok just to arrive and pay at the door?

Any advice most welcome, thanks!

Where did you get those fixtures from ?? my info tells me

Friday 4th August Wroclaw v Grudziadz and both Bydgoszcz and Torun fixtures are on the Sunday the 6th.

Edit found this Google translation

" Changes in the 12th round of PGE Ekstraligia

August 4 (Friday)

Betard Sparta Wroclaw - MRGARDEN GKM Grudziadz

August 6 (Sunday)

Get Well Torun - Vitcherfif CrossFit Czestochowa

In addition, August 6 was set as a reserve date for the Friday meeting in Wrocław.

Recall that according to the original schedule the match in Torun was to take place on August 4, and to compete at the Olympic Stadium in Wroclaw on August 6. As you can see, the changes are minor."

just one change Czestochowa v Torun postponed and Grudziadz v Wroclaw replaces it on TV

I won`t be around for the 1st match tomorrow but would suggest http://tele-wizja.com/player/zapaseleven.html

I've obviously missed these changes. We are travelling independently, but I know that Travel Plus tours (who advertised this very weekend in Speedway Star a while back), are taking a large party from various UK airports to stay at the Holiday inn in Bydgoszcz for these fixtures. I know of around a dozen from my local track who are going with them.

Can you tell me when the changes were made and where they were announced? I just checked the Leszno website and it still shows the fixtures as I described them. So does Torun's website!

28TH April and my cut and paste was from Sportowefakty article https://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/683518/zmiany-w-terminarzu-pge-ekstraligi this is also confirmed on the extraleague website.

the Bydgoszcz fixture might be subject to change because the TV matches for the NICE Polska league for that round have not been announced and will not be for some time as that week is the last of the regular season and they will wait to show the matches that matter. The only match scheduled for Saturday 5th is Rawicz v Poznan

Ok thanks. I suspect there's going to be a whole group of unhappy fans from all over the UK when they learn of these changes now.

I'm travelling independently as I said, but I'm staying in the same hotel as the folk on this tour:

Hopefully Travel plus will have enough time to get to Wroclaw on the Friday, and they can always do Rawicz on the Saturday(Poznan is a local derby) and then they will have to choose Torun or Leszno on the Sunday.

That's funny and their own fault.

Thanks for the updates, why has the czestowchowa match been cancelled but Rybnik survives?

I looked through the terenzano card and thought it was only Woryna, Fricke and Kaczmarek who were missing, any others?

Thought Poland had large squads to cope with such problems, though Rybnik are the hardest hit, Woryna has been looking really good so far and wouldn't be surprised to se him go well in the under 21s
