2ndbendbeerhut 1,781 Posted August 13, 2017 It's not just Poland..the doubling up rule is a joke also. I really have had enough this season. Speedway in this country is a joke
LagutaRacingFan 1,936 Posted August 13, 2017 Looking at the updates, the problem appears to be the track. Everything seems to be from the gate. When Harris is struggling to pass, you know the track is poor.
northyorksbear 610 Posted August 13, 2017 The real irony is that Peterborough had a realistic chance of winning this meeting with Holder riding, Diamonds are so weak at reserve if you have a couple of good top end riders you can get close. It's a real slap in the face to Panthers fans!
Hawk127 1,359 Posted August 13, 2017 It is sad that this great sport is dragged down further by those who have scant regard for the paying public. I really hope that those in charge are proud of the performance. No blame can be directed at riders, they do what is asked of them but the promoters and BSPA are taking the patience of the fans to new limits. These so called guardians are killing our sport and perhaps it is time to show the utter disdain most have for those who continue to take the proverbial. No wonder those clicking through the turnstiles is going down. What will happen? Nothing. A wake up call is looming and when T V pulls the plug those from the BSPA will start to see the gravy train come off the rails. Onlya few promoters deserve the support the rest will hopefully get their comeuppance.

In this particular instance its got very little to do with the BSPA, in fact in denying the Panthers any facility for Holder they have done all they can. Letting Holder miss meetings in the first place is the problem.

Letting Holder miss meetings in the first place is the problem. That's neither your decision or the BSPA's. The Panthers have it in their right to drop riders whenever they want and use a no facility option.
soupy 556 Posted August 13, 2017 Lets hope they drop 3 riders when they are at home and see how that has on the size of the crowd.
LagutaRacingFan 1,936 Posted August 13, 2017 (edited) Good to see Shelby Rutherford get his first points in the Championship. A small positive in a disappointing result. He might be one to keep an eye on for the future. Edited August 13, 2017 by Jeremy Corbyn Fan
LagutaRacingFan 1,936 Posted August 13, 2017 (edited) Embarrassing Harris' ride in 15 was worth the admission fee on its own. Told the Newcastle fans stood on their feet and applauded him. Edited August 13, 2017 by Jeremy Corbyn Fan

spanner47 336 Posted August 13, 2017 It does appear that not only are P'boro blighted with a crap team, they've also got the only 2nd Division troll. We used to have one on tbe Ipswich threads, not too sure what eventually got rid off him. I know loads of us complained to the mods, but that appeared to fall on deaf ears for Months, but this creep was a vile little person, where as your troll is just a sad pest who obviously hasn't got a life. Terrace Grumbler 337 Posted August 13, 2017 Chris Harris' pass in heat 15 - breathtaking Alfie Bowtell's outside move on Andersen - heartwarming The rest - dreck, the worst examples being Robson and Lindgren cruising around in heat 9 and Lindgren pulling up in heat 14 to allow Hopwood to win...this was 13 heats of speedway riding. Ban Holder for taking the mickey, ban Rutherford for being hopelessly substandard but please do something to make this sport worth watching again.
