lisa-colette 6,032 Posted August 14, 2017 Will we win? Will the crowd level be a lot lower now play offs are unlikely? Is Sam Masters back for this? Thoughts?
Skidder1 7,637 Posted August 14, 2017 At least Brady hit a bit of form for Rybnik yesterday. Being race-fit will help. James and Eddie's success on the European Grasstrack should at least not have a negative effect on their form. Hopefully our reserves can do well, but I still reckon an away win by 4 points or so!! Tommy Sweetman 480 Posted August 14, 2017 With Matt probably giving them all a ear bashing, think the Pirates will be up for this, and can't see it being third time lucky for Wolves at Wimborne Rd this season.
Perton Wolf 396 Posted August 14, 2017 Poole win but Wolves to get a point.
lisa-colette 6,032 Posted August 14, 2017 Well we can't do what Gavan does and look at the previous meeting between these two at Poole as both teams line up a bit different. Poole had Zengota, Kyle and Bates then, and Wolves had Riss and Josh G for FL.

Beowulf 1,513 Posted August 14, 2017 A Poole win because:- 1. All runs good or bad have to come to an end sometime. 2. Wolves record at Poole is poor. 3. We have weak reserves. 4. R/R for Masters weakens us. 5. With R/R you are reliant on you on your top 4 all riding well, and Schlein isn't. Happy to be wrong though.

Fourentee 987 Posted August 14, 2017 Could be close, only one team has won away fewer times than wolves There's an alarming stat! Four near-misses, claiming a point on each occasion, but you're right. As far as the match goes, I'm with Beowulf. Given Poole's record, it really should be an away win but it's all too easy to mount a convincing argument against that happening.
