Poole V Swindon Semi Final 1st Leg 11/9/17

Recommended Posts

Newman was at Poole only a few weeks back, at reserve - and scored 5 in his previous visit, in the main body of the team BWD scored 6 +1.

Yep, was just going to mention this. I don't really get what Swindon benefit from this IF BWD is 100% fit. At #3 last time out at Poole he beat KK, Worrall, Holder, Starke and Shanes. At reserve tonight (if he was 100% fit) I would have expected him to score very well...

This is hilarious reading certain posts from Poole fans blowing gaskets.

It is.

But lest be honest here the only two Poole fans up in arms are Shovlar and Gater1.

The rest of the Poole fans can actually see the reason why Newman is riding

Fair play to those Poole fans.....surely your sick of the embarrassment these 2 bring to this thread

We made him. If it wasn't for us then he would've been another Simon Lambert.

Fans have paid him money down the years to sort out bike issues.

Hometown club. Us fans have supported him through thick and thin for years.

Forget about MF. Kyle would be slapping us fans in the face because we've all supported him for years.

Just as bad as Sol Campbell if he scores well tonight. No going back. Unforgiveable.

You have never been to Poole and only supported them for 2 years. You have done F all for Newman

Now and then in speedway, you get memorable, golden moments. This one is right up there with the best. Hilarious.

You fans haven't supported him through the years nor the club. Sacked at least twice.

What exactly have you 'made'? A good reserve??? Hardly ground breaking.

No one sang his praises before he was sacked each time. Now he gets chance to prove the club and fans they were wrong. Good luck to the lad.

this topic has exploded hasn't it :D

I cannot think for the life of me why Poole are actually worried we've replaced a rider with a lower averaged rider who got 'sacked' from their team for not pulling his weight.

Jeez, take a look in the mirror Pirate fans and smell the coffee. Have a look at the bull you are spouting on here.. talk about pot and kettle. #piratepotandkettle

I for one think we are not cheating, obviously BWD by pulling out from his final ride yesterday shows he's not ready to tackle the bumps and table tops of Wimborne Road.

Like Gavan, I cannot help but laugh at all the bile posts on here.. it's really made my Monday here..:rofl:  :rofl::rofl:

He wouldn't of even been a good reserve if it wasn't for us.

Its like. Cristiano Ronaldo joining Barcelona from Real Madrid.

It’s a hell of a selective and isolated screenshot to decide on the basis of 3 meetings that one rider will out score AN other. Why not stretch it back to 6, or even a different set of 3 fixtures? If the 3 fixtures prior are chosen (Wolves, Rye House and Somerset) the stunning addition of an additional 10!! Yes 10 points could have been added from said meetings (they sides are a bit better than those of the last 3 fixtures though!)

A rider v rider argument is generally pointless and a little bit daft, but the whole notion of Lahti over Musielak feels like an attempt from said poster to create a narrative of Poole as favourites and thus they look daft if they don’t win - If you don’t believe that there must be at least 754 match threads over the course of the last 10 years you can read for validation of such a claim - Lahti will do very well to out score Musielak

Please can either Shovlar or fanatic/gater1 please answer these points then you have a case:

BWD would have outscored Starke (according to Shovlar)

Poole sacked Newman and replaced him with Starke (Starke being the better rider)

So how on earth does that make Swindon stronger ???? Please answer

Newman at reserve scored 5 at Poole this season.

BWD scored 6 from the main body of the team

So how on earth does that make Swindon stronger ???? Please answer

Your only moaning because you sacked a rider earlier in the season who now may come back to haunt you.

Would you be up in arms if it was Josh Auty???? Josh Bates????

No of course you wouldnt.

If Newman scores well it will make the Poole management look foolish for letting him go

And as for the disgraceful comments from Speedway fanatic/Gater1 about you would hate to see Kyle ride for Poole again if he scores well.................you are a proper idiot and not really a speedway fan.....do everyone a favor and shut the f..k up

Obviously he isn't 100% and probs the 'bumps' at Poole will affect his injury more?
