ProudtobeaBrummie 646 Posted December 1, 2017 I think Leicester have made a real solid start to team building where will josh come in the main body ? i think its imperative to have a strong reserve pairing if you look at most teams good form it was when a strong rider dropped in the 6 or 7 slot
The Observer 55 Posted December 1, 2017 As expected, Josh Bates returns Come on Leicester, secure the services again of Newman. Popular with the fans, a 100% rider, who's good on home & away tracks.
Col 854 Posted December 3, 2017 Until someone can officially be assured of the assessed averages of incoming riders, how on earth can we have any idea of Leicesters potential lineup. Confirmed: Bates 5.52 Probable. E Riss 5.75, Nilsson 7.13, Newman 4.86 If as confirmed Vaculik starts on 9.00 & Pieszczek on 5.00 It leaves 5.24 for the final member of the team. Lewis Kerr, Jake Allen & Paul Starke are the only signings that mean Pieszczek would start the season at reserve, which surely must be the plan?

Elmo 274 Posted December 3, 2017 The major work widening bends 3 & 4 were done the year before 1 & 2. I think the plans is just to get them smoother this winter.
beckettlion 195 Posted December 3, 2017 Think I saw on either facebook or twitter that someone had suggested that Kim Nilsson was not returning to British speedway this year.. Vaculik Bates Pieszscek Riss King Newman Would leave 3.77 for the final reserve, would allow a little more strength in reserve. Jan Graversen? Max Clegg? Jack Smith? Vaculik Bates Pieszscek Riss King Newman Would leave 3.77 for the final reserve, would allow a little more strength in reserve. Jan Graversen? Max Clegg? Jack Smith? If the rules haven't changed Graversen should start on a 4.00 ave! How about Robert Mear (3.65)?
Mr Bump 254 Posted December 5, 2017 Thought Georgie Wood looked very comfortable holding off Danny King in the Sheffield meeting. No idea of averages for a chap like that though. Latest signing being announced tomorrow.
Col 854 Posted December 6, 2017 If Pieszczek is going to be a 7.00 rider then I would go with ... Vaculik 9.00 Bates 5.52 Pieszczek 7.00 King 6.66 Nilsson 7.13 Newman 4.86 AN Other to fit .... 2.33 max That could work. Shame Pieszczek is 7.00 really tough ask. But there is enough experience around him in that team. IMO Pieszczek should be 5.00 having never ridden in a SGP or SWC event. But then Leicester isn't a few miles West of Bournemouth and the rules were not constructed with the Lions in mind,.
