Woz01 3,589 Posted May 23, 2018 Birmingham should win comfortably although Morley will put up some opposition.

Have to agree sadly for IOW if these 3 don't score points here they will be difficult to get anywhere. Id be very surprised if Walker doesn't get a hatful, Layne should get a handful and Butcher just needs to try and notful (not fall ). Hoping Morley can keep it respectable but in reality IOW will do well to clear 30 points
Guest GiveusaB Posted May 23, 2018 Yes, looking forward to seeing Morley/Hopwood.
Sings4Speedway 3,249 Posted May 24, 2018 Well looks like IOW made a decent match of it early on (with the help of a few silly points thrown away by Brum) but ultimately were out gunned. Not sure there will be many easier meetings for Cupitt to score points and still didn't set the charts alight. The return of JPB shows the enigma he is with mechanical gremlins and fastest time of the night. Theres just a touch of Bridger about him that concerns me. For IOW it was the usual story with Morley unlucky not to have scored more, Hopwood performing well & Verge battling hard. Widman getting his best score of the season says a lot but the reserve headaches continue for the Warriors
Guest GiveusaB Posted May 24, 2018 Have to say, what another 'poor' race surface ! Can't keep blaming the weather!

Its no secret that he hampers himself but his scores the past couple of seasons have been impressive for a higher end NL rider whatever the timber he is carrying. Sidney the robin 4,735 Posted May 24, 2018 (edited) What was refreshing about last night was it seems that the NL this year might not have so many. easy 60/30ish home wins. The IOW put up a fight and battled hard which was great Morley(who i like) had three great battles with Hume and Hopwood battled hard also heard the young reserve Embleton has ability.I listened to the meeting on the radio and what a brilliant show it was excellent stuff that and the speedway updates do a terrific job for speedway.
