Found this nice drone footage someone has taken in August on YouTube, really shows off the track and it's surronding area...

The BSPL AGM will be fast approaching with the NL AGM to follow later on I think, may hear some more news soon.

Track looks good. Now all they need is some deckchairs and some portaloos

All joking aside, good luck next year. It's great to see Workington back in speedway

Would be nice to see them in the championship but think that will be a big ask especially now Newcastle have gone and looks like Edinburgh as well and now Leicester moving up to the top flight.

Yeah it would make sense start off small and build it up, run in the NDL and make money on track hire, other events etc.

However, looks like there could be as few as 7 in the championship next year IF Glasgow were to have a go in the Premiership.
I’m sure if that was the case the BSPL would be asking the possibility of Workington joining the Championship.

Afternoon racing in the NDL, with trackdays, the British youth championship and a few Open meetings with star names is probably along the lines of what will happen in 2023.

Well that looks eminently sensible and an honest appraisal however keep your diary free for a meeting early November to discuss the direction for next season...

Everything is positive coming out of Northside at the minute and still a lot of graft to put in... However... watch this space...

Question is how many fans we attract each week will be critical... 350 would be good 400 better and 500 the dream to start with... obviously the more who attend the better the opportunity of running a successful operation but we ain't looking for thousands... well not to start with anyway...

Will there be an experienced "speedway professional" on board, to work with BSPL and be a safe pair of hands to prevent the inexperieced  owners being ripped apart by the sharks?
