Rolling green sheet averages are effective from 28th of the month, this is an initial average which is covered by the seven day rule.

This is not a green sheet average adjustment, It's on the 4 home/4 away rule for initial average assessment. he completed this on 18/7 and it's effective seven days after that date, which is today.

And regardless of this, he is listed as 1* therefore can replace Jenkins on a 2*.

Average doesn't come into it

Ernie you are wrong.

Rolling averages are calculated upto and including the 23rd of each month. Coming into effect on the 1st.

When Dan's average comes into effect is stated on the greensheet, highlighted in green to state that is the change on version 11.

Forget averages. Anyone on the rising star list can replace a rising star above or equal to their category.

According to the team declarations, Leicester only have 1 rising star and that's Dan's brother

Well that clearly isn’t fair when they’re averaging over 6

But currently a 2 ;)

No different to James Wright guesting for Poole on his 4 when he's averaging higher!

Think you will find once James has done his 4th home meeting he’ll get his new average 7 days later

Dan's comes into effect on the 28th according to the SCB. That's not Redcars choice, it's written in the documents. So until then he could replace anyone on his 2.00 average the same as James did on his 4.00 average despite currently averaging higher than that.

And after his average is in effect he is still a 1*, so even Newcastle could use him if Archie found himself unfortunately injured

I'll just leave this here...

" but shall otherwise be replaced by any guest rider from the Rising Star list of that teams rating or below."

But the rules refer to riders on the rising star list, and he is on the rising star list.
