Exactly this, it cannot be good news that the Agricultural society have sold out, this is a quote from an earlier press release. ason Lunn, EEAEC venue director, explained that the plans to redevelop the showground would move forward without immediate impact on current or future events at the venue, saying, “The Arena and it’s connecting halls, all the buildings and the entire outdoor complex will remain unchanged and fully operational until 2023, at which point it is likely that gradual, phased withdrawal of facilities will begin at the showground boundary.” If this is still the plan who knows. Withdrawal of what facilities though? Hope it doesn't affect the speedway. Always enjoyed my visits there.

stevehone 3,430 Posted November 10, 2021 i think the giving up of a lot of the grounds to houses might be the issue that will need dealing with, don't know how soon the houses are planned for though
Flappy 1,605 Posted November 11, 2021 (edited) So it's been confirmed we're building to 39 for 6 riders and then a rising star. So with Brit reductions dad's army can rise again with the need to find a 4 point reserve to play the Ulrich role MPT Ostergaard Andersen Nicholls Harris 4.33 Palin Edited November 11, 2021 by Flappy

Doubt Ipswich will be able to fit him in. Had a very poor year but Ricky Wells is on a 4.00 and he might be worth a gamble considering he rides Sheffield, Wolverhampton and our place well when he's on a good run of form. If we're looking at the Championship then maybe Kye Thomson or Ben Basso.
