Skidder1 7,637 Posted September 22, 2022 To be fair it was the mid-meeting team talk (ar$e-kicking) that stung the Pirates into their second half blitz. In all honesty I've not seen the Pirates quite so dominant against a top team (Lions 3 heat leaders all had higher GSAs than Poole's top 3). The Cook brothers really turned it on big style - especially Ben who was really quick all night. But credit to the full 1-7 and to the Lions for their first 5 heats or so.
