King's Lynn v Sheffield 17/10/22. League cup final 1st leg

Recommended Posts

Better team won again.11 points from Lawson, Picko and Klindt. Should of been 25. TJ looked like he was riding for a place in next years team to me. Hope Freddies back.

Freddie and Jorgensen aside and possibly worrell, how can they be that poor?
was expecting way more from Pickering this year, when he came with Sheffield last year he looked unstoppable!
such a performance just turns people off to coming, how much longer can it survive?

Not going the the BV meeting next Monday. What's the point. Some of the team didn't look up for this one. I know if they don't score they don't earn but it was a cup final.

What an awful meeting.

Crap track + Crap Team = Hardly any fans and no atmosphere.

1 decent race out of 15.

Entertainment zero.

It will take a hell of a team to get me back next season. Had enough!

Sums it up for me too.

hate being negative, but it has all gone wrong for KL over the last few years. Big changes needed, probably more in the management than anywhere else!!!!!

We were very solid apart from Kyle tonight. Deserved the win  Kings Lynn were basically a 2 man team. Poor crowd for a cup final which would probably have drawn a few more in if it was ran earlier in the season

There wasn't as many as i had thought, but it was better than most crowds this season. The atmosphere was as flat as a witches T*t

Well that was embarrasing!

Kerr taught em a right lesson.

glad i didn’t waste my money.

I did waste my money unfortunately, no way am I going to the last home meeting next Monday vs Belle Vue... They don't deserve a crowd!

A home promotion needs to offer either a winning side or an entertaining racetrack (ideally both!)

If it's neither that's a slippery old slope.

The club needs to have a long hard look at itself over the winter and decide what it wants to be.

Never really understood why anyone expected anything more than 6.5ish average from Pickering.  He's not a CL #1, average less than 8.5 in second tier. Anything above 6 in top tier should be considered a bonus.

Speedway fans are a loyal bunch, one or other will be enough, but not neither.

The thing is, even the long term fans (40 years for me) have had enough. Gone are the days when i go every week, to be honest i have only gone a handful of times over the last couple of years!
how do they expect to attract new fans????
