I'm thinking of coming up from London any weather updates would be appreciated as we got a bit wet last week sitting on the terraces in the downpour.

Hope this meeting isn't a damp squib particularly with the 2 reserve changes for Peterborough. Sad JJ isn't riding as I always enjoy watching him when I've visited Oxford this year but understandable after his fall last night and I imagine the second bump didn't help. How does Connor Mountain usually do around Ipswich? I am looking forward to seeing Tarasenko for the first time.

Mountain is at best unpredictable,,, if its grippy he will be very bad and if its slick he will just be average

Nice to see young Dan's form continuing after his decent score at Belle Vue and his good performance in the under 21 final, as for Riss he don't get no better even against the league's whipping boys.

I'm guessing they were all fantastically brilliantly awesome,, normally are when we beat a team that's once in a long time,,,and the racing was probably fantastically brilliantly awesome,,, always is when I'm not there.

Doyle and Sayfutdinov were their normal imperious selves.

King had a good night but then he normally does against weaker opposition. At least he won Heat 12 beating Basso who looked a bit more like the rider of last season.

Thompson did well and had his best meeting by far, really pleased for the lad.

Rew struggled and to a lesser extent so did Hume considering the quality of the opposition.

Unfortunately, Riss just looks like his confidence is completely shot. Maybe a slight improvement on late but only minimal.

A lot of the races were won by a distance, so not the best night of racing.

Lovely to have 3 meetings in 3 weeks. Not had that in a long while.

Also, as usual, all done in 90 minutes - that's how it should be done everywhere.
