Concerning as have seen stock cars run in far worse conditions than speedway. More rain forecast between now and Thursday.

Same story every beginning to a season....arrange to hold speedway in March and be prepared for cancellations galore.....it's inevitable......until global warming alters things for better weather. And many times April is not much better.

Spoke to the track man at leicester who also does Sheffield and says it would take a miracle for speedway to run on Thursday.

Not going to lie, I can’t make it on Thursday so selfishly wouldn't mind a cancellation

Do they need more time to prep the track for stock cars than they do for speedway and with dogs being on 6 days a week they just can’t do it in time for Monday?

Forecast looks to be improving with only showers now around mid day on Weds and Thurs and not the usual 95% probability!!
