I just put him there because he won't be at number 1 but personally I think he'll be fine he's only going to improve further. You look at perhaps Plymouth struggling to get heat leaders apart from Barker and Edinburgh could be stumped if Pickering does indeed move on with no Douglas, Basso and Worrall some teams could be lacking top end strength imo. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I think he's clearly good enough to be a number 5, especially in a weaker league. Even if he's not it's a 7 man team, so one rider "out of position" won't hurt Poole. There will probably be several riders racing in a higher position next year, compared to 2023. He'll have the second highest average if Poole team is the same as what's rumoured.
