Heat Leader -Spectrum computer game

Recommended Posts

Did anyone else have Heat Leader for the spectrum?  Think it was around 1987 time, many a hour spent Leading Coventry to victory.

No,but I did have 'At the Tapes' a few years earlier circa 1984/85.

You could break into the program  listing and alter  riders averages so you could rack up 60 point home wins!

Just looked Heat Leader up and it looks a newer version of At the Tapes.

Similar, apart from the Coventry bit. So long ago I can't quite remember the game play. I'm thinking for each rider you had to decide on their line and riding style (easy or hard) for the four laps.

I took part in a postal game circa 1990 run by Edinburghs most eccentric supporter Geoff Chandler who ran meetings on a ZX computer and published a fanzine with results every fortnight. Crazy times!
