Skidder1 7,637 Posted February 20 3 Speedway Premiership clubs got a mention in a question on University Challenge concerning 'East of England clubs in towns/cities'!! Despite the blank looks of the team they managed to correctly guess Peterborough (Panthers) and Ipswich (Witches} from the clues provided but failed with the Stars (kings Lynn). martinmauger 584 Posted February 20 Frustratingly had UC on the TV last nite while awaiting the following prog on the 2003 Columbia Space Shuttle tragedy (seriously, do not get me started on that), had sound turned right down whilst catching up on phone messages, so, deep breath, missed the speedway bit.
